Platforms Service Redevelopment Framework (Platforms) Training

Platforms is designed to strengthen the capacity of local communities to deliver positive outcomes for children and their families through a place based/whole of community approach to service system redevelopment with a focus on integration.

Platforms is based on compelling research about the importance of the early years and their impact on the life course of children, and the emerging evidence about how communities can make a difference for children and their families.

Learning gained from Platforms Training enables participants to facilitate service change through a partnership approach, embedded in genuine community engagement, so that local services:

    • are driven by the needs of children and families;
    • strengthen the capacity of communities; and
    • promote positive outcomes for children.

Training is subsidised.

Platforms training is complemented by a wide range of support resources including: The Platforms Guide, Roadmap, Guiding Principles, Online Resources and Customised Support.
