Ngala Celebrates 120 Years
This year marks the 120th anniversary of Ngala’s operations. Established in 1890 as the House of Mercy and renamed NGAL-A in 1956, the organisation has a long and varied history, reflecting the evolving, ever-changing needs of the families Ngala serves. During its many different phases, Ngala has always been committed to promoting the rights of children and supporting West Australian families. Read more about Ngala’s history.
To mark this anniversary, there will be a number of exciting events held throughout the year which you can be involved with. To start with, Ngala would like to compile a timeline of its 120 years. To do so, we need your help. We would like anyone who has had contact with Ngala to send us through stories or photographs which sum up their Ngala-experience. More details of where to send your stories are coming so check back soon.
