In addition to its partnerships with Government bodies, Ngala is grateful for the support it receives from the business community. Sponsorship from the business sector is becoming an essential component to ensure the continuing development and growth of Ngala’s services for the Western Australian community.
Developing a partnership with Ngala – Western Australia’s leading early parenting and child development organisation, is an excellent opportunity for businesses to meet their marketing and community objectives.
Ngala customises the ‘partnership’ opportunities to meet the objectives of individual organisations. It is proactive in maintaining and developing an on-going commitment that benefits both parties.
If you would like to discuss the possibility of creating a business partnership with Ngala please contact Ms Estelle Dawes, Corporate Services Manager on 9368 9368 or via email at edawes@ngala.com.au

Parents, carers and families play an essential role in children's road safety education. What happens to children in the early years has consequences right through the course of their lives. There are many opportunities to get involved and make a difference to the lives of children and young people. Evidence shows that the most effective time to get involved in good road safety practices is early childhood, including the ante-natal period.
Smart Steps aims to promote parent and community involvement in road safety education and improve road safety outcomes for children aged 0 – 4 years. Training is offered to child health professionals and community agencies who provide a service to parents/carers/families who have young children. It supports and encourages parents and carers to model safe behaviours and make safer decisions for young children in traffic. Smart Steps is a parent and carer education program regarding the use of:
- child car restraints and general passenger safety
- safe pedestrian practices
- safe places to play.

The Royal Perth Golf Club, located in South Perth, is one of the state’s premier golf courses. The club is committed to supporting its local community, and kindly provided funding to make possible the upgrade of one of the outdoor play areas at Ngala’s Bluebird Child Care Centre. The new playground will assist children to engage their minds in meaningful and purposeful play experiences. It will encourage them to further develop their skills and creativity by challenging them to problem solve and hypothesise about a range of experiences and activities.
We were delighted to receive funding from the HBOSA Australia Foundation in September of 2008. The foundation agreed to generously fund our important Tuned In Parenting (TIP) Program. HBOS Australia is one of Australia's leading financial services organisations. The Foundation is part of the HBOS commitment to corporate responsibility and operates as an independant company, working with charitable and not-for-profit organisations across the country.
