Incredible Hulk Smoothie
Smoothies are a great way to get some fruit and vegetables into your day. They are quick to prepare and can make a great breakfast or afternoon snack meal. Including chia or linseeds increases fibre content, you can also increase the amount of leafy green vegetables too. Add some quick oats to make this more of a meal.
- 100g natural thick Greek yoghurt with live cultures
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 handful baby spinach leaves
- 1 banana
- 1 teaspoon ground linseed or whole chia seed
- ½ cup ice
*Recipe serves 1 adult.
Combine the yoghurt, milk, honey, spinach, banana (other fruits can be used if available, e.g. strawberries), flaxseed and ice into a blender.
Blend until smooth, green and creamy. Serve immediately and enjoy.
