Guiding Children's Behaviour 2-5yrs
For parents of children 2 to 5 years of age. 2 hour workshop. Parents come to gain knowledge, learn from other parents and share their experiences. This workshop explores the idea of behaviour as developmental cues from children. Foundational research across the life span is addressed to understand how children in these years of life interact with their immediate world (family and social circle). Protests, expression of opinions, and see-sawing independence surface during this time and can stretch parents’ ability to feel in control of the situation. Developmental aspects covered in this workshop include; social, emotional, language, physical and self regulation. Challenging and confronting behaviours of 2-4 year olds are considered in this workshop within the social environments that your child experiences. Throughout this interactive workshop, you will be linking developmental aspects and research to feel confident in understanding and guiding your child/ren’s learning in their expanding networks of social and family situations.
