Toilet Education

For parents of children 18 months to 3 years of age. 2 hour workshop. Parents come to gain knowledge, learn from other parents and share their experiences.  Did you know that toilet training is one of the last major developmental milestones that your child achieves after crawling, walking and talking? Toilet training generally takes time, patience and the knowing of when to start this process is and when it is sometimes necessary to take a break. This workshop explores when this favorable time for toilet training is for your child and how best to prepare and coach your child through this challenging and exciting new adventure. Parents will identify both the normal developmental pathway in the toileting process and identify their child’s signs readiness for toileting.  Strategies are discussed to promote a positive experience for both the child and family.
