Woodside supported the creation of Ngala's 'Nurturing the Pilbara program, which began in Karratha in 2008 as part of the companies commitment to supporting its employees and community development in the Pilbara.

The World Petroleum Council Excellence Awards (WPCEA) for Technological Development and Social Responsibility recognises the worlds most outstanding projects and innovations in the oil and gas sector every three years.  'Nurturing the Pilbara' was recognised as an innovative 3 year partnership, providing responsive and proactive parent education, resources and support to families living and working in remote and rural communities in the Pilbara in Northern Western Australia.

Woodside's Community Relations Manager Jo Ferrie said the award was a prestigious recognition of the contribution Ngala has made to the Pilbara region and parents living and working in remote locations throughout the state.

Congratulations to Stephen Gallagher and his dedicated team from  your colleagues and friends at Ngala.
