We need your help this festive season
to help support families
For many West Australian, the festive season focuses around giving and receiving gifts. For many families it brings with it excitement and joy, but for over 94,000 children in WA the festive season is no different to any other day. Why – because they live in poverty and their families cannot afford gifts and decorations to mark the season. But this vulnerability extends beyond gifts and money and impacts the developmental growth of a child.
One way to help families is through our Ngala Residential Parenting Service providing day and extended stay services at Ngala’s private hospital, which provides hands on, practical support and guidance to parents needing assistance with infant sleep and settling, addressing feeding and nutritional difficulties, child development and behavioural concerns as well as helping parents experiencing anxiety and postnatal depression.
Every dollar does and will make a difference. This season we would like to raise $50,000 so that we can help over 100 children, carers and parents to be provided with the support they need to raise their children in a joyful and rewarding environment.
With your kindness, you can help make this possible.
Thank you! Your donation today will help support parents, families, and communities to enhance the wellbeing and development of children and young people across WA.
