The Happiness Survey 2021 is closed for the year, we’ll see you again in 2022!

What does happiness mean to you?

That’s the question we are asking all Western Australian families, with at least one child under the age of 18 years. At Ngala, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to be their best and that raising children should a joyful and rewarding experience. This is what we call Raising Happiness. As an organisation, we strive to guide West Australian families in parenting and child development, but we need to be informed as well. The Happiness Survey will collect data to investigate just how happy Western Australian families are, as well as inform the practical steps that can be taken to improve ‘happiness’, assist in the development of future Ngala services and support the continuous improvement of existing services.

How does the Happiness Survey and its study benefit you?

There may be no direct benefit to you from participation, however, sometimes people appreciate the opportunity to share their knowledge and experiences, which can be of incredible value to other children, families and communities in WA.

Your support will:

  • Assist Ngala to identify if there is a need for new programs and services, or improvements to our existing programs and services, to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the communities we serve
  • Help raise the profile of Ngala so that families know where and how to access our programs and services
  • Contribute to Ngala’s parenting and child development knowledge, which in turn may support the broader family services sector in Western Australia

We invite you to snap the QR code below, click on this survey link or the survey button above – and be part of this research event with Ngala, which we hope will uncover just how happy Western Australian families really are.

If you have questions about the survey or would like to know more about Ngala and our services and programs, please contact us by emailing – [email protected]
