Alice brings almost 30 years of experience working as a paediatric Speech Pathologist in teaching hospitals and private practice in Western Australia. She was a member of Speech Pathology Australia until retirement at the end of 2018. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) from Curtin University.
Alice is passionate about the education and wellbeing of children and their significant others, and the use evidence based best practice to provide optimum care.
Prior to joining the Board, Alice served on the Friends of Ngala from 2008-2019, and was Senior Vice-President from 2011 to 2019. She was awarded Life Membership in 2019 of Friends of Ngala for services to the organisation.
Alice is a Director of several family companies and has served in several not for profit roles. She has experience in leadership and governance in the not for profit sector, event management and corporate fundraising.
