Shelley brings over 40 years of experience to Ngala from a diverse and broad range of capacities due to her engagement within the Industrial Relations, Indigenous, and Government Sectors and further within various charitable organisations.
Shelley has predominately worked within specialised areas in government, mining, construction, and the Indigenous sector where she liaised and advised on how best to work collaboratively to achieve the vital cultural planning for those workplaces and institutes.
Shelley has similarly performed in high functioning positions within the arenas of public speaking, fundraising for a range of institutes. She is particularly passionate regarding the well being of children and especially those within the Indigenous space. This passion has taken Shelley in the direction of working more closely with the indigenous sector specialising in providing Indigenous educational training for all sectors of the workforce.
Shelley’s fundraising work has predominantly been within the Indigenous sector, feminist movement, and children’s organisations. Shelley’s story with Ngala brings a special understanding and passion for the organisation.
Her comprehensive range of experiences in leadership and governance roles in government, the private and the not for profit sector has led Shelley into specialising in event management, marketing, and corporate and community fundraising.
