Ngala Community Services is thrilled to be the recipient of a Lotterywest grant of $275,000, which will go towards the development of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system enabling greater support to Ngala families, carers and the community across the state.

The WA Government, through Lotterywest, supports community projects and events, helping to build a better WA together. Lotterywest has celebrated a record-breaking financial year in 2020-21, with $864.9 million provided to the WA community in grants and lottery prizes.

The Lotterywest grant contribution will provide Ngala with the ability to build a customised platform that supports Ngala’s model of care. Enabling evidence driven decision-making, with live updates to provide a contemporary understanding of our client’s status and needs.

As the only State Government-owned lottery in Australia where all the profits are returned to the community, Lotterywest is committed to supporting Western Australian community groups.

“At Ngala we are always on the front foot of improvements and innovating to meet the ever-evolving needs of the community we support. The Lotterywest grant will allow us to build towards a better WA together by improving our infrastructure so that we can always give a child the opportunity to be their best,” says Fiona Beermier, Ngala CEO.

Ms Beermier further adds, “A centralised database is a digital platform that all organisations need to provide a single source of truth when it comes to complete and accurate client and patient records. The customised build of this CRM will amplify our current processes, ensuring seamless continuation in managing our data according to stringent privacy, data protection, and security requirements, enabling the safe and secure sharing of health information.”

The CRM will be a client-centred system and will address the need for Ngala to facilitate continuous improvement and to always be agile to fulfill community needs.
