Parenting Connection WA is a new approach to supporting parents in communities around the state.

In 2017, Ngala and Anglicare WA joined forces to bring parenting knowledge and skills to nine regions under one umbrella.

This partnership is Parenting Connection WA. It involves community partners such as Wanslea Family Services.

What we deliver

Parenting Connection WA hosts workshops, groups and sessions in nine regions to support parents as they build the knowledge, skills and confidence to be the best parents they can be.

How we deliver

Parenting Connection WA works with local communities to identify needs, ensuring services are the right fit.

This has included lots of fun, educational and inclusive opportunities, including:

  • Parenting and Playtime groups, where parents meet weekly to stay, chat and learn
  • Parenting Workshops which nurture skills on managing more than one child, transitioning to school and positive youth mental health
  • Community Conversations
  • Local Area Partnership Groups
