Quality is about being the best we can be, constantly looking for ways to improve services, systems and processes and ensuring that we’re efficient and effective.
It also means pursuing excellence through thinking of ways to do things better with our resources, doing what we say we are going to do and providing sound evidence.
A decade of ISO Certification
Ngala has maintained ISO Certification across all service delivery and administration functions for over ten years.
We continue to maintain certification under AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015 and the National Safety Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS) with a recertification audit every three years.
We maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), consistent with the ISO Quality Standard, with an emphasis on regular review and continual improvement. The Executive group meet quarterly to ensure that the QMS is operating efficiently and effectively.
Ngala’s certification body, Institute for Healthy Communities Australia (IHCA), conducts an annual audit of our systems to ensure compliance is monitored and reviewed against set strategies and performance measures. Ngala staff are proactive, going above performance measures to improve services to parents and carers, as well as internal systems.
