How does it work?


The Ngala Parenting Line operates as a call-back service. To request a call from the Parenting Line, contact 9368 9368 or a web request can be made via the link below. The free call number for country callers using a landline is 1800 111 546.

The Ngala Parenting Line service operates between 8 am to 8 pm, seven days a week,
including public holidays.

Please note, this is not a crisis response service. If you are in crisis or need an urgent response, please contact Crisis Care on 9223 1111 or call Health Direct on 1800 022 222 if your child is unwell.

The Ngala 1800 number is free for regional callers only from landlines. The Ngala 1800 number is unable to provide guaranteed freecall access for all mobile service providers, therefore if you have difficulty accessing this number from your mobile phone – please call 9368 9368 and request a call back from the Parenting Line
