Let’s Sleep Webinar

Is your baby over 6 months old and having difficulty sleeping? Let’s Sleep is a series of two interactive webinars, helping parents understand more about their baby’s sleep. These interactive webinars provide information on sleep and settling strategies based on current research and is an opportunity to gain and share knowledge with other parents about how their baby grows and develops. Solid Start Webinar

This interactive webinar covers the introduction of solids for parents with babies aged 4 – 7 months. A Solid Start helps parents introducing solids to their baby, sharing information based on current research. The interactive webinar will give parents an opportunity to share knowledge with other parents about how their baby grows and develops. You will be given tips to help you with this important milestone in your baby’s life.

Sing and Grow Online

Sing and Grow Online is a music therapy program for children aged 0-4 and their families. Focusing on strengthening family relationships, building capacity in parents to support their children’s development in the early years of life, and encouraging the use of music within communities. Each interactive session encourages children and parents to sing and dance, whilst having fun and enjoyable times together.

Play and Chat Online

This weekly online group supported by Ngala Child Health Nurse, Cheryl, is for young parents under the age of 25 years. Each week provides an opportunity to connect with other young mums, share experiences, discuss topics of interest, and hear ideas for fun free activities for your child.

Youth Anxiety Support Solutions

During this time of change and instability many young people are feeling anxious. As a parent how can you support them? This interactive online session will identify the behaviours that an anxious youth may exhibit and provide strategies for assisting them to cope.

Tuning in to Teens Online

Tuning in to Teens is a 6 week online parenting program focusing on emotions, it is designed to assist parents to establish stronger relationships with their teenage children. The program provides parents with a greater understanding of their teen’s emotional experiences while teaching specific skills that can assist in being supportive, empathic, and staying connected with the young person.

Tuning in to Kids Online

Success in the classroom depends on more than just your child’s IQ. The way your child identifies, understands, and manages emotions can have an impact on everything from his or her relationships with peers to performance in the classroom.
