Is your baby over 6 months old and having difficulty sleeping? Let’s Sleep is a series of two interactive webinars, helping parents understand more about their baby’s sleep. These interactive webinars provide information on sleep and settling strategies based on current research and is an opportunity to gain and share knowledge with other parents about how their baby grows and develops. Inclusive, self-development drama and creative play classes filled with interactive and creative experiences, which encourage children and their families to connect with themselves, each other and the world around them.

 

Cyber Safety

Children and young people are online now more than any other time in history. They can be heavily influenced by social media and their online interactions and experiences. This Cyber Safety session facilitated by WA Child Safety Services, is designed to equip parents to empower children and young people to have safe, positive experiences, whilst helping them to manage the risks. Covering a number of issues that currently affect children and young people, including; online gaming, digital wellness, protecting eyes, body & brain, social media & self-esteem, cyber-bullying and parental controls. This comprehensive session is filled with up-to-date information, real world examples, practical strategies and conversation starters.

If you are under the age of 25 years and have a child 0-4 years, come and meet us. Supported by Ngala Child Health Nurse, Cheryl.
At this fortnightly playgroup, you can meet other local young mums, share your experiences, discuss topics of interest, and enjoy fun free activities for your child.

This upcoming series is for both parents/carers and their children 4-12 months, to join with other families and an experienced Ngala Nurse, to build on their existing knowledge of parenting, share experiences and enjoy fun activities together with other local families.

Tuning in to Kids

Success in the classroom depends on more than just your child’s IQ. The way your child identifies, understands and manages emotions can have an impact on everything from his or her relationships with classmates to performance in the classroom. This 6 week parenting program explores how parents can support their children to develop emotional intelligence.

Protective Behaviours

This Protective Behaviours information session advises parents/carers how to promote the safety and wellbeing of all children by providing tools, strategies and resources to reinforce the key themes and concepts. The session is designed to open the doorway to discussion and break down societal norms that can inhibit disclosures.
